Prof. Visu was invited by Centre for Research and Development of Safety and Environment Petroleum (CPSE), Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam as a resource person for the 3 day training program on “Environmental Management and Climate Change “ conducted by AITVN from 20 – 22 September, 2017.
During this training program, he was involved presenting the current status of environment in Southeast Asia region, and a review on Industrial Environmental Management practices in Asia. Specific focus was on how to develop EMS and ISO14000 certification process for petro-chemical industry. During this visit he also visited Department of Environment and Natural Resources, of HCMC University of Technology.
As a visiting Professor of the department, he was also asked to teach in the seminar course on “Environmental Monitoring” for their recently created English teaching graduate program on Environmental Engineering. He also spend reviewing the research projects conducted by the undergraduate students in the field of Membrane technology, and had a joint research proposal discussion for the year 2018.
