Asian Institute of Technology would like to call for abstract and paper submission for the International Conference on
The International Conference on Mastering Energy Supply focusing on Isolated Areas (MESfIA) is being organized as a part of the ERASMUS+ project titled Mastering Energy Supply focusing on Isolated Areas (MESfIA)- Project No. 598716-EPP-1-2018-1-EL-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP, co-funded by the Educational, Audiovisual and Cultural Exchange Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission. This project aims to provide high quality postgraduate education on energy supply for students and professionals willing to be employed in this sector. Specifically, it focuses on Southeast Asia that has multiple remote area, forest areas, mountainous areas and islands that will need to improve electrification conditions and other energy supplies. Additionally, this project partners with European Universities for knowledge and experience exchange among regions.
This International Conference on Mastering Energy Supply focusing on Isolated Areas is therefore a culmination of the efforts of this project to mainstream energy supply for isolated areas. Therefore, conferences would like to solicit contributions from abstract and papers from research focussed on energy systems for isolated areas from all regions of the world.

Publication of Conference Proceedings
- All presentations at the conference will be published in by Regional Energy Resources Information Center (RERIC) as conference Proceedings. Selected high quality papers will be sent for the standard review process in the International Energy Journal (IEJ) (http://www.rericjournal.ait.ac.th/index.php/reric/index).
- The International Energy Journal is a quarterly publication published by RERIC in March, June, September and December of each year. Papers on technological, socio-economic and environmental aspects of energy economics and planning, energy conservation, and renewable energy resources (biomass, solar, wind, and small-scale hydropower) are published. The IEJ is included in the Emerging Sources Citation Index of Clarivate Analytics (Web of ScienceTM Core Collection). It is also indexed and abstracted in the Scopus title list, and has a listing and ranking in the SJR (SCImago Journal and Country Rank). It is also listed in the EI Compendex Journal Source List (Compendex Database of Engineering Information, Inc.).
- Note: If a paper is selected for publication in the IEJ, it will not be published in the conference proceedings.
