Summer School: GeoTraining Environmental and Remote Sensing Data Analysis

attended the 4-week summer school: GeoTraining Environmental and Remote Sensing Data Analysis via Geospatial Technologies in Research and Teaching, Department of Human Geography, Goethe-University Frankfurt, Germany during 2 – 28 September 2018.

Under the coordination of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Goethe-University Frankfurt, the Philipps-Universität of Marburg and the Universität Koblenz-Landau organised the GeoTraining summer school.

It was designed as a 4-week training programme which aims to prepare university students and junior researchers for the tasks of teaching and research in their respective institutions.

The course focuses on geospatial research methods, research project development and higher education teaching skills. 30 selected participants came from 18 different countries from Africa, Asia and Latin America.

The program was sponsored by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) along with co-funding from the involved institutions.
