Bangabandhu Chair Prof. Joyashree Roy was invited to join the panel discussion on Energy Pricing in Power and Energy Week 2018
organised by the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources , Govt. of Bangladesh.
She, accompanied by Bangabandhu Scholar Hasan Mamud, had bilateral official meetings with Bangabandhu Endowment Fund Member Secretary Sheikh Hafizur Rahman, Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali, State Minister of the Ministry of Power Energy and Mineral Resources Mr Nasrul Hamid, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Power, Energy & Mineral Resources affair Dr Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury, Secretary of Energy & Mineral Resources Division Abu Hena Md. Rahmatul Muneem.
Prof. Roy delivered an inaugural Lecture at Hackathon at North South University, met with academia from East West University and Jahangirnagar University, BUET. She visited various exhibition stalls including Petro Bangla stall and rural renewable energy board stall.
